NASM - CPT is accredited by National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
A high school diploma or equivalent diploma is required to sit for the NASM CPT test. You can also use the General Education Development (GED), diploma if you do not have a high school degree. The American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers recognizes GED as an equivalent diploma. A current CPR and AED certificate is also required. Important to remember is that the exam requires you to have practical training in these areas.

ACE offers selfstudy materials
ACE offers self study materials for the NCCA and NCPS examinations. These materials can be purchased for $399, and include the exam fee as well as various preparation resources. The self-study materials can be purchased as either a package or a la carte. The Pro-essential package comes with all the study materials you need for the exam, while the Pro-plus package comes with a digital textbook and guide. A course online on fitness math is included in the Pro-advantage bundle.
NETA exam is a two-year certification
NETA is a training and educational organization that focuses on providing high-quality education. NETA certification has been awarded to over 120,000 fitness professionals. You can prepare for the NETA test with their two day seminar and self-study materials. For $249, the NETA private trainer exam is available. After passing the exam, you'll need to earn 20 continuing education hours.
CCN is an independent body that certifies NAMSS's products.
The Certification Commission of NAMSS (CCN), an autonomous arm of NAMSS, is responsible to develop and administer the certification exams. CCN has national standards for certification. It is similar in function to the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare, Medicaid Services. These standards are reviewed once every five years. CCN certification exams are standardised and have equal validity and reliability.

ICE is a membership organization for all professions
